Florida Hurricane Season Notes

We're about to enter the peak of the hurricane season. Any day now, you're going to turn on the TV and see a weather person pointing to some radar blob out in the Gulf of Mexico and making two basic meteorological points:

(1) There is no need to panic.
(2) We could all be killed.

I really must stop complaining about weather conditions in Scotland. Thanks for a really interesting insight into yours.

All the best.

The picture of my back yard only shows a small part of the whole area. By the time I took the picture a huge part of the debris had been removed. You can see some of the big limbs already cut and stacked up in the lower left.

I can't take cold weather, though, so I guess I'm stuck here...unless I move to the Amazon.
